The viewer is a digital map of the Hollandse Kust (zuid) Offshore Wind Farm Zone (HKZ WFZ), showing the new and existing offshore wind farm zones. This digital map provides you with the geographical data of the zone, in both summary form and in more detail.

General information Hollandse Kust (zuid) WFZ

Wind farm zone Hollandse Kust (zuid), 356 km² in total, is divided into 4 sites. Each site can accommodate 350 MW. TSO TenneT will build grid connections and construct two offshore substations in the wind farm zone. WTG’s connect directly to these substations.

On July 10th, 2019, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy announced the permits for Hollandse Kust (zuid) Wind Farm Sites III and IV (760 MW) have been issued to Vattenfall. With 76 turbines type Siemens Gamesa 10 MW-193 DD this wind farm will get a total installed capacity of 760 MW.

The permit for Wind Farm Sites I & II (740 MW) has been awarded to Chinook CV, a limited partnership and a subsidiary company of Nuon/Vattenfall. With 76 turbines type Siemens Gamesa 10 MW-193 DD this wind farm will get a total installed capacity of 760 MW.
